Weistec CLK Race Seat Brackets

Weistec Engineering is proud to introduce the fixed seat brackets as part of the race lineup for the CLK Black Series. These laser cut and machine formed seat brackets are made to work with the factory European spec Recaro AMG seats (Pictured) as well as most Sparco DTM style seats. This is a limited production run and once sold out, may not become available again.

Of course, you will lose it all. These seat are build for the purpose of racing but that's ok with me as long as no check light constantly flashing in your face.

I like Recaro brand but the luxury type for every day use and show. I always want one of those in my car. I almost put one in my Civic.

i was also looking at some Recaro's but for the price of one seat i can have these brackets and a pair of Sparco's. the other money can go to different mods i suppose. thats if i decide to go through with something like this right now as i have a lot of money going into other modifications.

my question is that since it looks as if the seats are just bolted down, how do you plan on letting people get in and out of the rear? lol unless you just mainly drive yourself, seems impractical.

for some nice hardware. I'm totally loving that Euro-spec Recaro. I bet it costs an arm and a leg. That would go nicely with my current driver seat.

Hold on there...

"Adjustable recline" should have nothing to do with rear seat access... It should have to do with adjusting the angle of the seat during the install because these brackets are made for fixed back seats that require side mounting brackets.

Remember, these were designed for the CLK63 Black Series that does not have rear seats, they will work in any 209 but the key market is the Black.

i figured the recline was meant to move it back and forward, it still would be hard to get people in and out of the rear.

i always wanted a bucket seat on the CLK, only problem would be that issue, if only you could recline AND move the seat forward.

Recline is angle, moving the seat forwards and backwards would require a set of sliders. I believe Recaro makes seat brackets for the 203, you can add sliders to this style of mounting hardware. I'm not sure if the 203 and 209 are interchangable or not, one of these days I should measure out my two cars and see if they would work.

$400 for two brackets?!? I just couldn't justify that for two brackets. They look like a solid product though!
