2009 CLK550 - Differences between C (Comfort) and S (Sports) mode?
___________________________________________
My vehicle has only 3,700 miles on it...
bought it with just 1,800 miles on it at the beginning of the year.
Had been owned by an older man that passed away and his widow stored the
vehicle since May 2008. Still had factory cellophane covers on the mats, not
had its first service... like brand new.

I expect the vehicle had never been driven briskly...which makes sense.
No way did I ever think it was "sluggish" BUT now...

There is the thread on this reset... https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...set-works.html

What I did worked:
Get in, CLOSE the doors and windows...
insert key and turn to second position...full lit display but NOT start...
depress gas pedal to floor for minimum 5 seconds...HOLD
turn key back to insert setting THEN release gas pedal.
The original poster stated that the reset needs a minimum of two minutes.
I did not know if this meant leave the key in situ and don't open the doors or
windows for two minutes OR that you could leave the vehicle and it would take
two minutes to reset.
Being goofy, I chose the former option, just in case.
Anyway....IT WORKS...unbelievable..!!!
Many thanks to the original poster - Jakpro1

Haven't played with it on my CLK350 yet.Question, I noticed someone said to set it back before bringing the car in for service. Dyno mode used to only last until you shut off the car. Has this changed?

I would not do anything to jeopardize my warranty nor indeed the reliability of the vehicle.
The 5 second gas peddle reset DOES perk up the transmission setting quite noticeably; although my usual driving habits will no doubt have it reverting to "sensible" setting very soon

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Back to the question, has anyone done a real comparison of mpg between the modes?
