$3,400 Body for W209, New design?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/MERCEDES-CLK...#ht_3182wt_956

Any thoughts on this? Seems like a pretty penny for an aftermarket kit.

I kinda like the front bumper cover but the rest of the kit looks the sames as teir other offerings. And yeah, that's a good heap of cash.

Yeah it looks pretty aggressive without the front fogs.

I like Prior design, they make some pretty cool stuff. I agree, the front bumper is kind of BS'ish... But it's nice.

Not sure if it's $3400 nice lol

The more I look at the front end the more I like it... Lots of open space for brake ducting.

My only issue with it is that it appears the parktronic 'dimples' are a part of the mold. I'd like to know before spending that much money on the kit that they could offer a cleaner front.

I agree though sick kit and who uses their fogs anyway?? Haha!

Also just for my own knowledge, anyone know if Fiber Reinforced Plastic is the same material that Duraflex uses?

FRP is fiberglass just a different name or term i guess. Its supposed to be a little more flexible but it will crack unlike OEM bumper which is made of polyurethane and when hit on impact just creates spider webs.

I especially like this picture, i think it will look great on your car as well since its white. Mine is silver and i love how it looks in silver as well. Favorite shot:

Yeap was just about to post my earlier email response. $1400 shipped basically. Still pricey but comparable to getting an AMG bumper from a CLK 550. All the OEM Quality vs Aftermarket plays a big factor.

Did you happen to inquire if the Parktronic strips is an option? If I can get this with the plain non-Parktronic strip I'd seriously consider having this shipped to Dubai. Huge air inlets will be great for my Kleemann heat exchanger and some ducts for my Brembo BBK.
