Yeah........Sprint Boooster is very very addicting. I can't drive my car without it anymore. I bought the same version before I even bought my Slk55
. I like both modes (green & red) but red is my favor and I leave it on at all time.

The SB does not reduce throttle lag or latency. That is built into the ECU & can only be corrected in the ECU. It does not increase performance.

Let not get into it again because there are thousand of posts about it already. Those that bought one, LOVE IT !!! Just let em enjoy it.

Enjoy your placebo effect. I have no problem with people saying they enjoy it as long as they do not make technically inept claims. Go well!
BTW - also read the excellent white paper on the subject.

No one yet make any technically incept claims.........so what with your post? You're on a mission for what ever the reason. Here's mo re post from you on the subject.

I'm cool - no problem at all
I will be doing my test in Jan, at PBIR. jim
the toughest part is getting to push on both sides of the plug
after its removes just connect the booster into place...the roof trim hides all the wires. and the power button is nicely placed near the key hole area of the dash
its a freakin awesome toy

No..this is not a good test because of the instant throttle response you actually will lose track more from a dead start.

The latency in the ECU remains a constant.
I can understand that some like greater acceleration for a given throttle input until it hits WOT at partial pedal movement & then does nothing.
I think the largest success of the sprint booster is relieving purchasers of $300 for a 50 cent dual channel op amp. Oh yes - and it now has a switch and two resistors to vary sensitivity.
A Benz "fly by wire" throttle has a backup channel from the pedal hall sensor to the ECU for safety purposes hence the requirement for two channels..
