Ended up switching out the deck for a Kenwood DNX7180.
The deck I had couldn't do rear av input only front which means exposed ugly wires.

Super Nintendo installed along with a 500w inverter.
Next on the list are two 10" subs to replace my 12. Going to have it custom made to go on each side of the trunk so I have more space. Probably will do this next year

Haven't done much in a while.
Plastidipped the grille yesterday

First time using plastidip... This stuff goes on all spotty and weird. Much different than regular Duplicolor or Tremclad. Gotta stay close and spray thick coats.

I like the black grill but I am partial to the chrome star. You going to coat the rear badges? Seen it on a few other cars, looks really good it black is the accent you're using.

I got it from www.dipyourcar.com. They have a package where you get 4 cans of black and 3 cans of gloss for $54 shipped
Something like that

Nope. Duplicolor is paint so you gotta prep it too.. Sand, primer etc.
Louie is right, it goes on much, much smoother since it's regular paint.

question disco: are you no longer sporting those wheels I thought you got recently?:

also, I've seen you post about plastidip in another thread, saying that no sanding or priming is needed (for painting wheels) and that it's easy to remove. would that no sanding/priming also apply to using it on plastic parts, like the lower grille and fog surrounds?

I still have them but I just ordered a new set of something else and should have it in the next two weeks
So I'm probably going to sell the ones I have on now.

The grille I just painted was just cleaned thoroughly.

I'm interested in changing the interior in my 2002 CLK 430 to something sporty. It now has the original light grey leather. The two front seats have small tears that driving me nuts. Anyone know where I can buy replacement covers or get them reupholstered?

Just placed an order with Eric @ SupremePower for new wheels. Great guy to deal with and gave me the best prices. Better than all of the locals too.
Specs:
18 x 8.5 ET 35
18 x 9.5 ET 25
I'm planning on adding a 15mm spacer to the rear for that extra poke

My car buddies rip on me all the time.. they say I go through more shoes than a woman lol.
Nah I think I'll be selling the Brabus wheels and using the stock 17s for winter. I put brand new snows on the 17s so I might as well use them for another season.
