Future CLK owner - are these stock MB rims?

Hi-

I just joined, being a future MB CLK owner. I am going to look at a car for sale, and wanted to see if anyone knows if these rims are MB rims, or aftermarket? I know they aren't the stock split 5-spoke rims, and I can't find them on any MB rim website.

Thanks!
Andy

They are an OEM version off of some type of MB.

Hmmm. So the original owner was an enthusiast? Or, had some 17" rims lying around from an older CLK?

Selling point, or detractor?

Those look really nice on the CLK! I don't think I've seen those before but they're definitely off another model (unless they were an option where you live)

Try www.alloywheelsdirect.net to find more info

What year/model of CLK? I don't recognize the wheels. They look OK. Can the owner tell you where they are from?

It's an 07 with 22k miles, for sale at a Chrysler dealer on Long Island. One owner, maintained at a MB dealer on LI. I just never saw these rims before.

I was just about to post that they look like base/classic model C class wheels. I see them on lots of 203's here.

CLK 220 CDI 2006 Avantgarde
EDITED: FALSE: Don't know about the States, but in Europe (Germany, not sure about the UK, it's all mixed up there) those rims come as an optional extra on CLC.

My bad, got them mixed up with the "Alshain" model, theese rims are called "Mercedes Tarazed" and come from an W211 E-class.

I saw the car and wheels in person, they are pretty cool looking! Car was nice too, I'll see if I can negotiate a deal. One of the rims has curb scrapes, the dealer said he would have it refinished and send me some photos next week.

Thanks for the wheel clues! I think they look better on the CLK!

I was looking at an 07 CLK 'vert for Mrs. Rizzo and it had the same wheels. I had the same question.

They were part of the "sport" package that included the cross drilled front rotors and some other stuff I don't remember. See the rotors in your picture? I don't think the lux 350 had cross drilled. And the dealer printed off a copy of the window sticker so I saw it with my own eyeballs.

Hope that helps.

Cool. I saw the cross drilled front rotors and hoped it meant sport suspension/package!
