now that I finally got new wheels, maybe it's time to start thinking about lights. starting small, what's up with the condensation in my OEM, non-AMG foglight?

NO LONGER ACTIVE
It's pretty common. Run the lights for an hour to see if it clears. If not, remove the bulb and heat it up with a blow dryer.

the good news: driving with the fogs on cleared it up.
the bad news: next day it's back.

It'll keep coming back too because the moisture is pretty much sealed in there. Run around with the fogs on, then when you get home pop the bulbs out and hit the inside of the housing with a hair drier for a minute like Rod mentioned, then pop the bulb back in making sure it's sealed. You should be fine after that unless a seal is worn/damaged, then it's keep happening.

Why not just remove the foglight housing and re-seal it with clear silicon. The non-sport foglight, the len can be remove not like the sport foglight which is a one piece housing.

any removal tips anywhere? I actually want to remove both foglight trim pieces as well as the lower air intake grille trim and wrap it all. I'm sure it's just some simple clips that hold it all in place but I don't wanna break them....

Thats all it is just clips. Remove the plastic covers for it. I didnt even take my wheels off when i installed my HID's.

Once you remove the L shaped cover you will have all access you need to the fog lights. Twist and pull and you are done
