Obviously we wont be getting the 6 speed or the "lower" level model of the climate control in a 320 or 500/55 model...but gives you another look at the interior...definately looks better in charcoal...

New Interior
Nabzy, thanks for posting. Looks better in charcoal. It appears that they didn't use burl walnut, though. Looks to me like one of the lighter woods. What do you think?

Thanks for the picture. Agreed the uniformity of the charcoal interior is better. However after seeing the new E class interior the 209's leaves me wanting. Does anyone know when the US dealers will be getting their first cars/demos?
Thanks
Thanks

2002 CLK 55 AMG Coupe ;)
Tnx Nabsy for the interior post.
Charcoal/dark interior is an improvement over the light interior.
However, it also clearly shows the disparate and competing incongruous design elements, which are markedly distinct in quality of character.
Each designer screaming: "Hey, look I designed this!"
...there were six design egos involved.
