Angry Xenon headlights

I have a very big problem concerning the xenon headlights. It hangs when I flash and I have to wait for 5 minutes to get it to its original level. Went to the dealer and they replaced the whole set under warrnty.15 days after fitting the new ones the problem aroused again .Did anyone face this problem ?any solutions ?

If you're having the problem after they replaced the whole set, then my guess is that it has nothing to do with the actual headlight assemblies. It sounds like you have a problem with one of the self-leveling relays that are on the sway bars. Have them check that. Good luck.

I don't have the self leveling feature because the car didn't come originally with the xenon headlights. I installed them after I bought the car.

2003 CLK320
I have no clue. But my car came with xenon lights and ne day they were stuck pointing very very low, i couldn't see anything in front of me. So i took it to the dealer and he took me to the back and the problem was the leveling sensor, it was loose. So he just tightened it.

I have bi-zenon on my CLK 320 and don't have the problem you described. You have to bring it to the dealer and have them take care of it. No need to panic.

The high beam in these bi xenons is fed by one wire...that controls the auxiliary high beam halogen bulb and the tilting plate between the reflector and the projector....it has nothing to do with the auto levelling...

The W209 bi xenons (Hella) are of a lesser quality as the W203 bi xenons (Bosch - Automotive Lighting) when taken apart...the hanging high beam might be caused by a disaligned rod inside the light (seen that several times with even poorer quality M-class bi xenons - made in Mexico)...

9 out of 10 times one can repair the innerlife of the light rather then swapping the complete headligh assembly (which is the only thing MB techs seem to be capable of)...

Have a look inside the headlight and see what it does or doesn't do...can't be that big of a problem.

The problem is it doesn’t happen all the time only when I drive for a long time.
Once every two or three days

It seems as though you're simply promoting this website. If you're trying to sell stuff please use the classified section of the forum. These forums are for people to get help, and in this case, as well as many of your other posts regarding Xenon lights, you didn't even attempt to answer the original question, you just promoted a site that sells HID retrofit kits...
