just bought a clk500 and have some questions..

The car is a CLK 500 Coupe, 2004 euro modell. WDB209.375 with M113.968 engine. completly stock right now.

1.The datacard say i have sportsuspension (code 486).

I have ordered Eibach pro springs that lowers the car about 1.2 inches both front and rear.

I have also ordered a set of CL AMG replica rims in 8.5 and 9.5 x 19". ET40 on both axels. Tires i have ordered with them are 245/35-19 and 275/30-19.

Will all this fit tougheter, or will it rubb?
I can still change the wheels for some smaler if they are gonna rub or hit the fenders with average compartment loads.

2.I love the sound of the exhaust(stock non amg), but i have listened to some exhaust notes on youtube, and i have also heard a C63(w204) live and loved that exhoust sound.

I love this one:

So, i want to make mine sound like that.. Just for the main exhaust parts, what do i need? Do i need the complete system, or is it enough with both the rear silencers?
I have read some pleace that the 63amg silencers dont fit next to the spare wheel well. Is this all 209 or some of them?

3. The car has COMMAND(code 352), ANTENNA FOR TELEPHONE D/E-NET(code 354), SOUND SYSTEM(code 810), CD CHANGER(code 819). I want iphone handsfree with ipod integration into the car so i can change tracks at the steeringwheel and see the song information in the instruments.

How?

Just to say it again, i dont want any comments on prices for the exhaust, i know its expensive. :P Also, i know i have to fit amg bodykit for the right look to the exhaust.
Thanks for all replies.. And for the wheels, i need to know if this rubs within 2 weeks when they will ship out my wheels.

specify?

After some minutes with hard thinking and math skills, i have come to this conclusion:

Stock wheels
F. 7.5x17 ET36
R. 8.5x17 ET30

New:
F. 8.5x19 ET40
R. 9.5x19 ET40

At the front, the wheel will be about 9-10mm further out, and will bve 17mm closer to the damper.

At the rear, the wheel will be about 3mm further out, and 23mm closer to suspension.

I think i saw that i had much more than 23mm to go on in the rear. I dont remember how much space there was at the front between wheel and damper. Worst case scenario is 5 or 10mm spacers at each wheel, depends on how much i have to spear before the wheel stick out from the fender.

To be exact fit ( w/o the flush looks or whatever) and i dont know if your car has the AMG calipers or not. How about a pics ?

Front : Stock ET36 New ET40 ; 40 - 36 = 4mm which i dont think you can get that size of spacer ( talking about hubcentric here)
Rear: You need 10mm for sure.

Low offset : you bringing the wheels outward to the fenders.
High offset: you bringing the wheels in close to the suspension.

Are you going to lower your car later on ?

you need to calculate in wheel width difference.. 1" = 25,4mm.

if the wheel is 1" wider, you get 12,7mm extra on each side of the wheel.

If we say the offset ET35 and the wheel is perfectly flush with ET35, mounting 1" wider wheel with ET40 gived 40-35 = 5mm + 12,7mm = 17,7mm out from the fender.(that is the wheel edge, not centerline)

almost the same calculation for the innerclearance..

I think you are wrong, but I confess to be drinking wine right now. If your last math is to see how much further OUT the wheel moves, then you don't add the 5 mm you subtract it because the higher ET will move the wheel in, not out.

You are absoulutley right about that.. my bad. The clock is 1.30 am in norway now and i am about to fall asleep on my keyboard right now. :P

The new calculation will be ET 35mm - ET 40mm = -5mm + 12,7mm = 7,7mm further out.

Dont have any pictures now, the car is beeing delivered on mmonday.

No amg calipers on my car. Even if the car had amg calipers, those wouldnt cause the wheel to rub the fender.. but yes, if spokes on the wheel has a bad angel, they could touch the rim, but ET has nothing to do with that..

Kleeman enginekit.. Mainly consist of pulley to compressor for higher boost.. gives about 40hp extra for the M111 engine(200k) for c230k it gives a bit more.

But can we please get back to topic?
