can any one tell me if I can install CLK55 Camshafts in my CLK500 (M113 Engine), or must I use other valve springs ? Greetings from Germany
Check Schrick Camshaft website from Germany.
If the part number is the same for 55 and 500. And they also recommend valve spring if it's needed.

hello, yes, I know that the company has Schrick camshafts for the 500 (M113). According to their list, you need no other valve springs. I could but a cheap pair AMG - CLK55 get camshafts. Unfortunately I could not find out whether other valve springs are needed for the AMG camshafts. regards Udo

Direct swap, just the cams, lots of guys have done it on NA & SC cars. In fact, the older Kleemann grind was pretty much identical to the 55 cam.

a friend of the already made here in Germany MB tuning, has camshafts for the M113. However, these have a large valve lift. I would consider using other springs and spring plate. That's why I want to install a pair of camshafts CLK55 (367HP) I may now. But I should know whether the so going with the AMG camshafts, without changing the springs and valve plate. Greetings Udo
I have E55K cams on my car (+10-15hp), no valves or springs needed. I do not believe there is a difference between the NA M113 V8 55/500 cams; but you can check the EPC and verify that the part numbers are the same.

hi 2MCHCAR, 10-15 hp? But in connection with your Supercharger? 55K camshafts I could used to get the pair for € 300, the 55 Sugmotor Cams cost (used) € 800. What should I do? I would like to use from the SugmotorOriginally Posted by 2MCHCAR

Explorehello, I have now got a complete CLK 55 AMG engine. However, he did some damage to the piston career. If it is possible, repaired it, I'll install the engine over the winter reconditioning and then until spring. If he is not reperabel, I'll stop only install the AMG camshafts. Greetings from Germay, Udo

hi, I've done it :-) I have installed a set CLK55 EVO camshaft together with the valve springs in my CLK 500. Now you just need the vote on the dynamometer. Greetings from Germany

Any results or pictures? Do you have the part number for the valve springs? I'm going to drop C55 (same as CLK55) cams in my CLK500 and am wondering if I need the valve springs.
