Finaly Finish Modding my CLK200K Cabrio
After two years I finaly finish modding my '04 CLK cabrio. It is only 1.8Lt because in Greece the big displasment like 55AMG are very expensive because of the taxes you have to pay every year. The mods are:
1. Exterior
- Look AMG with quad exhaust
- Carlsson Ultra Light 19'' rims
- Rear trunk lip
- 6 pistons with 360X36 rotors front and 4 pistons with 330X28 rotors rear from S600 with Mercedes-Benz logo. For the fitment I make custom 360 rotors and adaptors for the rear.
2. Interior
- Retrofit the seats from W207. The interior was aplaca gray and now is two tone, alpaca gray & black leather because I change also the center of the back seats with black color. https://mbworld.org/forums/clk-class...ofit-w209.html
- Black/brull wood steering wheel
- Cluster from CLK63 BS
- Retrofit NTG2 and all the center console from the F/L.
- 6 CDC from W211
- Bose amplifer from W208
- Focal speakers
- Ultra-Gauge OBD-II reader
3. Engine
- Supercharger from C230 with the 65mm pulley
- Porting of the M45 https://mbworld.org/forums/performan...5-porting.html
- Bigger crank and smaller water pump pulleys
- K&N filter
- Custom headers, deleted pre-cat.
- Bigger intercooler
- IC water spray injection
- Inox elbow before throttle boby
- Sprint booster
- 5 bar fuel pressure regulator
- ECU remap.
With all that the engine revs at 6.600rpm, the pressure has rizen at 1,1bar overboost puts down 200Hp @ the wheels.
Next to come throttle body porting, Apollo K&N filter, boost activated cut-out exhaust and bigger IC.
For now Eater Holidays with the family.

Thanks. For this color, when I order the car on April '03 it was delivered to me on 21st Dec '03. It is the Jasper Blue metallic. The next color that is better is the mystic blue, but the time of the order it was not an option. Next month I will sent the car for detailing and polishing. Then I will take and post some pics with a good camera.

Ash87 nice ride. The pulley set is custom made by me with the help of a friend of mine who own a workshop with lathe and mill. You can see some fotos at the link below:

Nice work! I'm curious about the bandaging on the exhaust pipes. We used to do that on motorcycles back in 80's. With mixed results. Could you feel any effect?
It looks nice though
