A small thing my CLK should have but doesn't

I wish the rear windows (especially coupe driver's rear) had "express" down and up.

Without the "B" pillar I always drop both driver's window and rear window, I mean that's one thing that makes this car sooo way cool.

It would be nice to click both window tabs just once instead of continuously on the rear quarter window to get it up or down all the way.

any other simple ideas MB should incorporate??

Couldn't agree more!

They should even go one step further by designing a button on the driver side door panel so that all windows (including sunroof) can be dropped simultaneously at the push of a button.

And btw, the black rubber in place of a B-pillar is kind of annoying too. Is there a way to have them replaced by some transparent ones?

There is something like this already on the 209s, but you have to hold the button down. If you hold down the air circulation button(I think thats what its called), all the windows close, including sunroof. For some reason, I think the a/c or heater have to be on.

For me, the small thing that I would like my CLK to have is a button to eject the seat belt presenter. Bear in mind that people don't usually put on the seat belts right away after they get into the car. You have so little time to put on the belt and if it has already retracted, you will have to open the door or to reach back all the way to get the belt again.

On the other hand, the button to put down the rear head rest is hardly used. I don't think many of us will seat people in the back too often.

Wow, thx for the info, TMans! Is there a way to have all windows opened as well?

I know that when you are walking towards your car and hold down the unlock button on the key fob all the windows will go down, as will the sunroof.

I love the look when the windows are down. Its an amazing "wow" factor for other drivers who check you out.!

I love this car.

Yup. But only when you're walking though. And if you hold down the lock button, all goes up!

It's all in the manual, folks, so i guess i'm surprised by all the people who haven't read theirs... but since there are apparently a lot of you, here's another: For those of us with CLK Cabs, you can "double-click" the roof-open button, even while at speed, to automatically open all windows. do a "double-lift" of the button to close all windows.

this works while the top itself is up or down... nice shortcut.
