Cool

Eibach bars, the REAR bar is a little too thick, IMO.

Weeks ago, stephens was fighting W211 with insufficient intake cooling after boost-up & got his solution afterwards.
Impressive dyno numbers as you already known.

But W209+Kompressor suffers another issue
engine over heat while hard driving.
There's no room in front bumper (crowdy with oil cooler
upsized intercooler, W/S wash bottle)
then I read the DTM solution and it looks exactly the way for the smaller W209.
The rear tank circuit is enabled by a temp control valve
as soon as coolant is over heat, this super circuit engage.

<<< Following is the quote from CLK-DTM>>>
Optimised charge air and engine oil cooling
The cooling system of the supercharged eight-cylinder power unit has also been optimised. The water-cooled intercooler with low-temperature circuit is fitted with additional radiators integrated into the front apron, which help to even out tempera-ture peaks. The extremely efficient engine oil cooler on the left of the system keeps the temperature of the lubricant at low levels even under heavy loads.
In addition to the 62-litre fuel tank fitted in the standard road-going CLK, the AMG Coupé is fitted with a 30-litre auxiliary tank above the rear axle. The battery and windscreen washing system have been relocated to the luggage compartment, helping – in tandem with other measures – to create a favourable weight distribution of 54 percent to 46 percent (front /rear axle). This is achieved despite the integration of the supercharger and the necessary cooling systems, which increase the weight on the front axle.

The tuner reported the status to me.
They park the car, rev it up to 3000 rpm, turn on
the extra cooling circuit & check
the coolant temp is stable at 80 C !!!! :p

It used to be 90+ C, a 10_degree drop by this circuit.
(very hot summer here)

A minor change is that this EXTRA circuit is controlled
by driver as I decide not to go by temp. sensor.

Woah - you dumped the Kleemann and have a MKB supercharger now?!!! What else you got (I don't recall) - SL55 air intake, evosport pulley, Carlsson exhaust, AMG 8 pistons, right?

You're almost correct.
1. MKB gear box enhencement plus TCU adaption.
this's a MUST for #2
2. MKB Hi-cam package & redline lift up to 6400 rpm.
stock gear box is hard to response to the very fast rev-up
3. custom 365mm rotors to cut the disc weight of 45%
4. Cooling & exhaust system further upgrade. (Done)
5. 5.5L retrofit (August)

After weeks of test, the trunk reservoir works great !
this CLK-DTM solution is good for track & Vmax.
In a certain period of time, the backup coolant can easily drop the temp of hot engine to as low as 80C once engaged.

Meanwhile W211/stephen's radiator solution is also tested
Not for S/C intercooling, I used it for engine cooling.
the coolant temp drop 5~10 C & hold it well than before.
very noticeable
