AMG package on CLK 500???

AMG package on CLK 500???
I placed my deposit on a W209 CLK in May of 2001. I have seen some of the board traffic the new CLKand it is difficult to tell if the "AMG" styled CLK bodywork is standard on the CLK 500, the initial Euro photographs are not promising.
Anyone have any reliable dealer insight?

All Euro cars, except the AMG models (ie CLK55 etc) do not come with the AMG body kit or wheels as standard. We get to pick and choose what we want. (i.e not pay for what we dont want) (but, us in the UK have to pay a significant increase for option pricing then the rest of Europe, because we are ripped off here)
It's cars destined for the US market that have the AMG kit on as standard for some models.
So, you wont know if the AMG kit comes as standard until the US spec is published ...

Based on the dealer option list for W209 CLK 500 comes standard like a CLK430...more
Option kit for AMG Body trim is available only for W209 CLK320, so that tells me that it is standard for W209 CLK500...

'06 ML500 w/Apperance pkg & '07 SL550 w/AMG pkg
Although, I have not read or seen anything to back up the statement, I tend to agree with RezaH. The "Appearance Pkg." is an available option for the W209 320, but is not mentioned on the list of options for the 500. That leads me to believe that it will be standard on that car.

I would bet money that the AMG package is standard on the CLK500, just like it is on the CLK430.
CLK500 with AMG wheels, skirts, etc. wooooooooooo can't wait for 4 more months!!!!!!!!!!

you can't speculate on things like that, especially when someone's put a deposit on a car.
Let me ask you guys, did the CLK430 initially come to the states with the AMG package as standard?
We can safely assume that the choices for the customers are given at first then when production starts rolling on, many optional features become standard!!
Thats my view at least.
