Car turns on and accelerates in park however same issue.. looked at the oil looks good. Checked filter and oil is in the canister..

No way will the wrong grade oil, especially using a 10w30 instead of 0w40, caused your problem. Just a coincidence. Your trouble codes should point you in the right direction. Are you sure you’re not in Limp Mode?

Thanks for replying the oil I had used was ow20.. not ow30. .. I purchased new spark plugs and will change them this week. I also purchased a new crankshaft position senor. I am not sure what limp mode is. I will look it up. Thank you!

I agree with rwolak that the oil (even 0-20) should not cause the issues you're having. Changing the spark plugs is an unlikely fix IMO since your misfires are on an entire bank. You could have just swapped the plugs between banks to verify if that is the cause.
You should change both the magnet and the sensor.
You may want to pull more codes to isolate the problem before throwing too many parts at it......

P0019 could be an oil issue. It's a problem with the left exhaust camshaft adjuster. It is hydraulically operated, so an incorrect oil pressure could affect it. Having said that, I really doubt using the wrong wight (or non 229.5-spec) oil would immediately cause this.

Thank you to everyone that replied. As stated the spark plug change did not make a difference. I also read on line how to remove a car from limp mode and that did not make a difference. I will replace the camshaft sensor or the one that is in the rear of the engine between the firewall and the motor after I find it. Haven't had no luck on line on it's exact location for the 2007 engine I have. I will look to change the magnet once i do research to find its location. Thanks I really keep everyone posted...

Good evening, I finally was able to locate the crank sensor as everyone stated it is on the driver side between the firewall and the motor simply remove the plug and you will see that it goes right into the housing. The screw was a hex same tool and size used to remove the power coils. So I replaced it... Very tight fit.... I cleared the codes. Restarted the motor and boom the same exact codes came back... Next I need to replace the magnets to see if that works. I replaced the camshaft-crankshaft sensor and to luck... Any other ideas would highly be appreciated. I am going to hired a skilled Mercedes mechanic for further assistance.. If anyone can think of anything else it would highly be appreciated

Good evening new update on the car. Paid a tech 150.00 to diagnose the vehicle with the correct Mercedes tool. He told me that the timing chain is not aligned and that the balance would have be changed with a bunch of other parts. He told me he could do the job however since he's an elder man, he cannot pull or put the engine back in. I would have to do that. I have pulled motors from American cars however not from German cars... He will charge me 1500 to do the Job plus 1k in parts. He said this is a big issue with this car and that there was a big lawsuit settled because of this. The car is in decent shape. I do have an engine hoist and motor stand but I am not sure what it would take to remove and put back the engine... So the job will come out to 2500 repair and I would be responsible for pulling the engine. Would like to ask you guys for your thoughts. Is the motor easy to pull? Does it need to come out with the trans???
