I am right in line with this. Looking to pick up a 2005 CLK 320 cab Euro-delivery and everyone here in SoCal is telling me MSRP is the best they can do. I am willing to go out of state if needed.

Just got my 05 CLK 500 CAB delivered in Houston for MSRP. They were selling some pre-owned (22 miles!) for $8000 over sticker if you wanted one right away.

Same for me. I couldn't negotiate on anything in houston and paid MSRP. Only discount I managed to gett was $700 off the extended warranty. Good luck with your purchase.

a csutomer/friend for a week, in several states, with no luck. I'd say you'd be very fortunate to find anything off MSRP, much less the exact car that you wanted. Surprising too, given the lousy state of affairs in the biz.

I heard there was a backorder for the cabs? They were probably just messin with me when they told me that but they told me it would be over a year to get in the 05 cab.

I think the sticker price was $65,900. She LOVES the car. It came with navi, heated seats, cd changer, and chrome wheels. I'm not a fan of chrome, but it was the closest to the configuration she wanted.

I must agree with you... He is a piece of crap. I remember asking him if he took credit cards for a down payment. He said, "We take your money any way we can get it!"

Try Escondido MB and Caliber in Anaheim, in Anaheim talk to Chris/Internet Mngr. --Found these 2 places best to deal with.
Ended up putting deposit down today on a Clk-500-cab. @ Escondido MB, they took $1000 off MSRP in writing, car was preordered by them.

Best we found was MSRP- before the dealer above-

I go to my dealer often in laguna niguel, they can't keep those cars in stock very long when they come in. usually they get clk320's in brilliant silver and they go out the door. they had one clk500 in black that i test drove and it was gone the next day.
gotta have those designo seats - they are amazing.
funny that they had 2 clk55 cabs that haven't moved....I think that most people find the clk500 has plenty of power for cruising - the amg buyer goes for a coupe or sedan IMO.
