Michelin Pilot Sports.....

In an desperation effort to cure my "pulling right" issue the dealer replaced my Pirellis with Michelin Pilot Sports. I like the look of them, quite aggressive, but now after about 4K miles on them the noise is amazingly bad, especially when coming to a stop.

Has anyone else experienced this or am I just going more senile than usual?

Thanks, Colin

St Louis.

You didn't like them because of the noise issue? Or handling?

Thanks.

ya, that is a problem with the pilot sports, one of my family members has a 2001 SL500 with them on it, and when coming to a stop there's a very noticeable roar and vibration...otherwise, great tires

I also replaced my original tires with Michelin Pilot Sports after numerous original tire swaps/replacements/alignments. Great looking tire, very quiet tire except when coming to a stop.

Seemed to help "right pull" somewhat. Right pull mostly noticeable at low speeds. Don't seem to notice it much at highway speeds.

The Pilot Sport came with my C320 had the same problem with noise. I replaced them with P Zero All Season and the noise issue was solved, but then I got to deal with the pull to the right issue.

Had same issue with Pilot Sports BMW 330 Sport. They swapped them for PS2's and problem solved.

Swapped P Zero's to PS2's on delivery of my C55 and after 7000klm they are smooth and quiet
