Just Lowered My Clk55 Amg - Pics + Question?

Well,

Just received my staggered AMG Monoblock 18's yesterday. Had them installed this morning along with H&R springs and #2pads(fr)/#1pads(rr). I've attached some quick snaps of my car, I know they aren't the best but its crappy weather outside right now. I was surprised that the ride quality didn't change to much. I was expecting worse and am quite pleased with the results. I'll post proper pics when the weather gets better and the car is cleaned.

As per my question.... I noticed after I got home, it seems that the performance shop where I had the work done today forgot to re-install the metal "cups" that sit inside of the front pads when they switched them over to the new pads. Should I be majorly concerned about this?

I don't know about the metal cups, but the drop looks great!

Looks very nice! I am suprised to see that the H&Rs are not as low as I would have thought...they look just right. What size are you running in the back? I have 265, you should check out the picks. They add a dash of muscle to the look...you may consider it for later on.

I noticed they were a bit wider...I had 255 for a couple of years but this year, with the lowering of my car I wanted to push the envelope a bit. 265 still works very well and still looks stock to the untrained eye. I was happily surprised. Eitherway, you car looks good.

I noticed they were a bit wider...I had 255 for a couple of years but this year, with the lowering of my car using the european spec springs, I wanted to push the envelope a bit. 265 were suggested to me as fitting the tire easily and still working very well and still looks stock to the untrained eye. I was happily surprised. I wish I would have done these modifications the first day I bought the car.

Eitherway, you car looks great.

Looks great!! What tire is that, Goodyear Eagles? If so, what are your impressions on tread, noise, and handling?

Don't know about the cups, but Luke in the tire and suspension forum may know.
