I want to sell my 2004 CLK55, but am finding it hard to do as I don't really want to sell it privately from my home, and have not found any brokers in my area I know, or trust. As well as reading the market is not super strong for the CLK55? I live in Miami. I noticed I could list it on cars.com, but again would I attract buyers, or strangers checking out and casing my house? Another consideration is to trade both my 2004, and 2005 CLK55's for a CL55. Both CLK55's pretty loaded with options, and are in excellent condition. Anyone upgrade from a CLK55, to a CL55? Have any expirence selling a car privately? Any advice would be more then welcome.

you probably will not have any security problems, judging by the number of other cars listed privately. They dont list your address in the ads. Just be smart about it. You can always meet perspective buyers in a public place. Check your mail.

Personally, I would wait 18 months until the new body style CL comes out and trade them both for a 2008 CL55...you will be good for 10 years if you do that. Good luck.

Not a bad idea. Maybe I'll drive them both for a while. Take the 2004 up to Reentech and have it juiced up, and put some 18's on it. Trouble is my garage is not really big enough. So for now I'll just keep the 2004 covered. Its not an easy decision. Unless I get my price for the 2004.

The new generation 2007/2008 CL is grogeous . Wide wide grill , with two eyes not four. in 1-2 years time, all our C, CL, S now will be looked like CRABBB
