06 cab with 469 hp!
The new Star (page 41) has the prices for 2006 and lists the clk 55 cab with 469 hp for $83,275...and no coupe. This should help boost sales until the 63 comes out.

The MBCA Star magazine usually has good info. The article has the hp ratings and prices of the 2006 MB lineup. There is no link but I'll scan it tommorrow unless Chappy beats me to it.

2001 CLK55 Conv.-sold, 2003 CLK320 Conv.-sold, 2006 CLK55 AMG Coupe sold, SLK55 AMG Current
Fake!!!
Okay people.
Please calm down. There will be not 469hp for the 2006 CLK 55 convertible nor for the coupe in Germany. Basically this will not be offered in North America. As some people would notice in Germany the International Motor Show 2005 (IAA) will take place on the 12th of Sept. (only press day)
There I could get some info as I work for the associated press

362 lethargic, sleepy ponies is all you get with CLK55
Hmmm.....say the magic word horsepower, and everyone's ears perk up!
The '06 Cabriolet will just have to get pushed around by the measly 362 horsies for this year. That's the facts, Jack.
Good 'ol MB reserves the uber horsepower engines for the 'high' dollar models. A number of articles have recommended that horsepower hounds and motor heads spring for the pitling extra $10K to step up to the E55 to have the big power mill under the hood.

Probably no clk63 for 2006 but it looks like this edmunds article from the s-forum says 2007.

AMG has gone into the independent engine production biz. They're first foray has produced a 6208 cc normally aspirated beast producing a 32 valve 510 bhp and 465 lb-ft of torque. That's just about what the next CLK will need to keep up with all the other 500HP cars now being produced and pounding the pavement. 362HP used to be big medicine, but no more, baby!
The ML class is the first model line to get this motor, then the SL. Maybe the bast*rd child CLK55 will then get it if MB decides not to give it to the CLK500 first! MB can sometimes be
