Instrument cluster failure

My outside temp. gauge no longer shows anything and my gear selection gauge looks like its getting ready to go also. Every now and again the middle screen gets stuck and I can't switch through the options. Has anyone else had this problem? What can I do?

This is a known issue. The fix is to replace the cluster.

Honestly don't know....haven't had to do mine.

Do a search here on the forums, perhaps a part number or price will be listed. All else fails, call your dealer for a quote.

I called my dealer for you....$1,670+, but needs a VIN to make sure the right part gets ordered (he advised over 20 options for the cluster alone!).

Price does not include programming mileage, etc.

P.S. I saw a thread where a forum member had replaced just the fuse for the instrument cluster. Don't know if it cured the problem. I'll see if I can dig up the thread for you.
