Help!

Greetings all,

It has been quite a while since my last post. Soon I will be posting in another area of this forum as my family has grown.

I listed my W208 CLK55 recently on Ebay and have received several offers. I know the car has more value to me but what should I expect to receive?

Rather than listing it all here, please see it on ebay when you have a a free moment. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I know I will regret the sale regardless. (It has Lorinser and 12k miles in the description)

Best!

with 12.5k miles, you shouldnt have a problem selling it for 31k. if it were me, id sellit for atleast 35k. good luck on the sale...what are you going to get after it?

Thanks so much for the help, guys. I was thinking the same as to price. It has been bid up to a little over 31k but I have had offers just north of that.

The next sled will be a CLS. I am trying to decide between a new 500 with the sport package or a pre-owned 55... I am leaning toward the 55. I really do appreciate the input and the help with the link.

I really like your ebay ad. It is well-written, thorough and sincerity comes across in the writing.

I am sure you will sell it soon!

Much appreciated, however, I must confess that the "vehicle description" is pirated from an article I always loved. Yes, I did keep articles about my car. LOL I truley love this vehicle and must admit it is a specimen if I've seen one. I am a proud father looking or a good home for my baby!

ps I don't know how many people have sold through ebay, but I have to say it is VERY time consuming to sell a vehicle. Don't get me wrong, it is totally my respinsibility to get as much information as I can to a potential buyer, but everyone wants different information. Keeping up with the emails and phone calles alone has taken alot of "work" time out of my schedule. Just FYI...

Thanks again!

Good point but I am not sure I can wait... Truth is I am leaning toward the 55 and I am close to making a deal. (At least I think I am.) We are close on price but it is out of state and I have yet to see it in person...

Wow, that is a killer deal. Around here that car would EASILY be around 40k. I might as well rack up the miles on my car if the resale isn't so hot. I hear you about the selling privately thing, sometimes it can be more trouble than it's worth. Have you tried Carmax? Sometimes they give decent offers and save you the headache.
