NorthEast Meet - Boston July - 2006
Welcome to Summer 2006! Mother to warm nights and sticky asphalt!!!
My Kleemann Supercharger will be ready next Monday and that stirs the desire to get a whole bunch of people with great cars together and go for a nice coastal driver up 1A for the day. Anyone interested in doing a half/day trip let me know. Just telling you right now though, don't hold me responsible for speeding tickets!
Let me know,

besides, I really need to avoid confrontation with the police these days. But, always up for a drive. Those M-people do it.. why not AMG/Benz
I am thinking some good car talk while eating some good seafood by the coast on a nice summer's day is just the thing we need after the crappy weather we have been haivng. They call for rain until Monday from here on, maybe after that we will have our chance.

I hope my CLK will be back by then
Otherwise, I'll show up in a W203!

My CLK55 is still not done because the technician working on getting the S/C took a vacation this week. I am expecting a realistic completion date of next Wednesday...well before the July 9th date. Come on, let's go and crash the party...no pun insteaded.

I got an email from the shop today, the car should be finally ready by the end of this week. The S/C is installed and the engine and all tidy and back in one piece. Preliminary dyno test show around 400 RWHP. I say preliminary because there is still some teaking that needs to adjust air/fuel ratio. There were also some hoses and minor parts that needed to be replaced in order to make it all fit just right, all responsible for the extended delays. But I am thrilled to think I could get it in time for the weekend. I know KTR's reputation is exceptional and renowned in the U.S. for working with high-end exotics and race cars so I feel confident that if it is taking longer than expected its because it needed to. Tomorrow could be the day!
Stay tuned for more coming up real soon.

Spoke again with the shop, the car will be ready tomorrow but I will most likely pick it up Monday or Tuesday because of the work that just came up. I will see if I can take nice pics of the shop and the car.
