The AMG site lists the CLK63 suspension as ABC. The MBUSA doesn't. Can anyone verify the US suspension is different?

Neither version has ABC. It is a typo on their part. Both have steal springs and normal shocks.

Honestly cars are better without that gizmo crap. That 63 can be upgraded to drive more like a sports car while anything with AirMatic or ABC can only be lowered and never will be stiffer than stock.

I would take a well sorted set of coilovers well before a ghetto dropped ABC car that bottoms out and feels goofy!

With this much power this thing should come in coupe only. I hope they added a LSD this time. I'll be happy if my CLK55 can keep up with the 7-speed CLK550 now a days

Funny you mention that....I was looking up the 2007 CLK550 and they say the 0-60mph is 5.1 sec. How can the same car with more horsepower be slower?

Road and Track estimates the 0-60 time to be 4.5 seconds for the Cabrio.

Yeah thats for the CLK63. I was wondering about the CLK550. Why is it 5.1sec?

I hate how the cabriolet only has left sided exhaust instead of dual exhaust.

I don't beleive the "030" AMG Performance Package will be offered in the U.S. for the CLK63 . AMG Manufaktur does offer various performance upgrages, including the LSD for the CLK, but unfortunately these items are not available in the U.S either (at this time).

At this time the only announced 2007 AMG Performance Packages are for the SLK55, E55, CLS55 and SL55. The package for the SLK55 does not include LSD . I believe the others do.

Anyone catch the typo from MBUSA...
From the muscular, pillarless coupes to the free-spirited cabriolets, every CLK is spellbinding. Coupe or cabriolet, the new 268-horsepower V-6 CLK350 and 382-horsepower V-8 CLK550 redefine exhilaration with 7-speed automatic and staggered-width 17-inch wheels. Open up the explosive 604-horsepower CLK63 AMG and you'll cast a spell over any road.
