Stainless steel lines

Installed some stainless steel brake lines and replaced my brake fluid with Ate Super Blue last night. here's a couple pics.

BTW for those who are not aware the brake disc is composite two piece unit, look closely at the studs attaching the disc to the hub. Also AMG is cast into the hub.

ATE Type 200Brake or Motul 600 Brake Fluid

They actually have stoped making the ATE Super Blue fluid because of the dye stain in it. The same level of performance is now in the ATE Type 200Brake Fluid- which is what I have. You can buy it almost anywhere online- just google search.

However, if I was to do it over again I would get Motul 600 Brake Fluid which has the best performance levels (high dry boiling point of 593F & wet boiling point of 420F), and although it is twice the price, it is still pretty cheap.

Yes I feel that Motul is actually the best. I think I will go that route instead since that is also what I'm using in my Talon with the Baer brakes.

I had a modified 1991 Eagle Talon I used to race at the New England Dragway. It was almost as fast or as fast as my CLK55. Loved the turbo boost on that car with the AWD. Only problem was sucky brakes and very narrow tires.

I had the Apexi fuel computer, the hacked mass, K&N air filter, SS air pipe to engine, upgraded larger turbo, 4 bolt rear end, 3" exhaust from cat back, larger side mount intercooler, boost to 18 psi (manual boost control which I liked better than my Greddy Profect controler) and a custom gauge pod. I still miss that car as it was easy to modify with little money.

How about yourself?

Mine is fully modded! I'll post a link I have here in mBworld with my mods! I've owned the car since 1998 and love it!

More serious power upgrades for it will be done this Spring. It destroys my C43/55 What my c43 puts out at the crank with the 5.5L ,my Talon puts out more at the wheels at 20psi (412awhp pump gas)

Sorry C,
I've been in the mountains for the last three days. No internet!!
You can check with your local supply houses. I haven't recieved the bulletin about the blue being discontinued?? My suppliers show plenty in stock and I have just reordered in the last 2 weeks.
Here's Ate's website, which also doesn't state anything about the super blue being discontinued.

I don't like redesigned cans as much as the natural ones. However the spouses current hormonal changes due to the preganacy, they could be considered redesigned natural cans!!
What were we discussing??

Is it better to go with the cans you know or the redesigned ones?
