2002 clk320

w208 command nav

hi guys, question i own a 2002 clk 320 with a regular head unit and i was looking into getting a coomand unit so i`ve checked ebay for it and i found a couple that would fit my car they say. they talk about using a retro fit harness . how true is this? or where else can i find a command nav sys for my car?

COMAND is worth it, but also a bit tricky to retrofit. If I were you I would contact SteveNL who makes his living tackilng this kind of mod.

2004 Silver CLK500

I just got COMAND for my CLK500 from Steve. Excellent experience, good price. Highly recommended.

You may have to get some local tech to install the COMAND. The system is totally worth the price; biggest reasons for me were the Navigation, as well as connecting my IPOD to the Aux source and getting rid of all the CDs for good. I am very happy to report that COMAND is working on both fronts, and more.

I have a 2001 CLK55 without the navigation but with the phone and voice command options. Would this be a plug and play for the navigation? If so, how about $400.00?
