I know the difference with the AMG. Step on the gas. I love my 04 SL55, when the supercharger kicks in, loose things slide to the back, you feel your back press to the seat. It is a nice feeling. Personally I would prefer to just see the SLs get the AMG upgrade/label because a beefed up family car is sort of so-so. But as far as posers go, come on a step up. It maybe a relabeled MB or some other wanna-be but they know.

on the rear. Very pretty color on the car, sort of a silver beige.
I'd be proud to drive the car, I wouldn't need to tart it up with the posuer badge. Hope she didn't overpay.

Late model CLK55 AMG hardtop with single exhaust spotted on 405fwy X 605 fwy today. I was driving with my brother in the car. As he pointed to the CLK, he asked me which is faster my CLS55, or that CLK55. I said "well, the CLK is lighter, so most likely the CLK." "Oh, wait a minute, single exhaust and a hardtop... He's a Poser!" "My car would win!" I was getting off the fwy, so I could not get a pic.

Short answer: yes.
The SL600 is already an awesome car and really speaks for itself without adding an ///AMG badge. It's always unfortunate when someone corrupts one with an inappropriate badge; kind of comparable to an AMG owner adding a "Black Series" or Brabus badge to their car when the car is not.

I was on my way to Orange County after a long day of work and I spotted this gorgeous CLK63 Black Series....matte gray, dropped on HRE's, with an Al&Ed Autosound license plate frame on it.
Next to him, was this E350 "AMG" checking it out lmao.

I didn't know the CLK55 wasn't supercharged. Kind of weird. Well, maybe he wasn't a poser. I definitively saw a poser this morning while I was stuck in traffic on the 605. C230 ///AMG. Here are some pics.

WHO CARES!!!
Does it really matter at the end of the day? I have both both 65 amg and s550. I understand its comical when you see a non amg with the badge but not many people can tell the difference. But on the other hand i really dont lose sleep over it!
But even though my S550 has the amg package sprt package i would never put the amg on her ***!

My wife sent this to me this morning. She picked off another poser while driving to work in her Honda Accord. They must have thought she was taking a picture because she was really impressed with the C300 AMG!

Has anyone done this? I was just wondering.

I just remember reasing a while back how someone pulled over a poser and yelled at them for posing. I forget the car and badges. I though it was a tad crazy lol.
