A not so good looking S class "AMG"... (Sorry blurry pic, was in a rush)
A standard C230 AMG, but bloody hell he was going fast
And this one actually looks good (besides the AMG). I had to get a second look...and saw his fenders stating "Avantgarde." Oh well.

I think Malaysia has some of the best looking license plates anywhere in the world, possibly with the EU as an exception, those are awesome.
Here I get my wonderful green and white Colorado plates that I love so much and definitely don't look like sh*t because they are just so awesome

. Other than that, its only black versus white font
with the letters in front determining which state you come from. I, on the other hand, love Australian plate numbers (lived there briefly), colourful and not restricted
Each state has its own design like Gold Coast, Queensland cars would have a nice Palm tree and a motto saying, "Queensland, the Sunshine State."

Speaking about license plates
Before I moved to Florida, I was stopped by a very nice lady Montana Highway Patrol Officer who asked me why I didn't have a plate on the front of my 2003 CLK55.
I replied that there was no mounting provisions or plate bracket on the factory bumper. She told me she could write me a equipment violation ticket for that. I told her that I was moving to Florida on the 9th of April, (five months in the future) so she just gave me a verbal warning. She told me to display the front plate on the top of the dash for the time being.
Pretty cool.
She checked the Florida license plate laws and told me that Florida only issues one plate. Still no holes in my bumper.
Having a good attitude saved me a big hassle.

Heck, I just saw what looks like a 2003 C230 Kompressor Hatchback, with that 1.8L 185hp engine, transformed into a CLK63 Kompressor ///AMG with 6.3L at the sides. Feel that power. Unfortunately, I was deep in traffic and capturing a pic with my cell phone while swerving through traffic was not possible.

Driving in to work this morning. Highway 123/Chain Bridge in Fairfax, Va. Right in front of me is a CLK430 sporting an AMG badge on the trunk!

^^^ It is an amazing phenomenon considering 90% of the population say "WTF is an AMG" The other 10% say "WTF is up with a CLK430 AMG". So who does the dumb **** think he is fooling? I can only guess, himself.

Hey FFXF1 you ever seen that 00-02 S500 that was re badge s65 that's gunmetal gray with the ugliest square tips and everything else stock. I wish I had a pic so I could post it here but I see it in DC and Rockville area and I die laughing everytime

I spotted an AMG imposter the other day, It looked like a 210 but he spotted me an started to drive it like a c63. I chuckled at first but remember driving my turbo 124 but never wanted to rebadge it.
The AMG emblem was an E-bay add on not level at all and the car had standard issue wheels and tires.
I wave to other Benz owners but in this case I would have just laughed.
