Anybody got a Veloce ECU tune?
428/462 ... I dont have the dyno sheet right now. my tech has it.
But yes I did feel a different. and it really drives good. even my MBtech likes it.
And on top of that.. the dealer reflash my ECU at service.. now I lost all my mod. lowering. 10deg fan mod. veloce tune. and I think it slower than when I brought the car....
So I never had a chance to re dyno the car again w/ green filter and cm30.
so my tech and I are debating should I sent my ECU back to Veloce to put the tune back on. that will cost me $250 for a reflash from them.. what a rip off since I paid for the tune.. all the other tuner only charge $100 for a reflash. So the question. for $250 to get back my Veloce tune or spend $1000 with Adam@evotech????
And here's another facial for Veloce in post 7.

Having spent most of my career in Marketing, I was curious about a company that could promise so much and provide so little comparative data to justify their product, particularly at the ridiculous price I was quoted just to reprogram my ECU. These guys are clearly winging it, thanks for pointing me in the right direction. And good luck selling those "distributorships" in this economy!
BTW, I'm either going with a Kleeman ECU/Pulley or just a Powerchip ECU tune. I like Powerchip, I have experience with them on two Rovers and they deliver both performance and economy. OR, I may just dump this piece of crap and buy a motorcycle.

I see you're in Carolina, Stealth in California. Any reason you went to an aftermarket company vs. directly to Powerchip for your upgrade?
Trust me when I tell you that Aaron will treat you right. Was a breeze to remove the ECU and ship it overnight and then they will ship it back to you overnight. All you need to let them know is what octane you will be running and any mods you have on the car.
Hope this helps!
I got to admit, I feel more comfortable going this route. Powerchip had me ship them my ECU out of my last truck ....they may have forwarded it to a dealer but I dont know....their customer service was fantastic, and if they can do what they did for a 6000lb truck then I'm pretty sure they can help me...also told me I shouldnt need the pulley.

For example, when I tested my car with the ECU modification: 1st gear maximum speed was 50 mph at 6,400 RPM; 2nd gear maximum speed was 80 mph at 6,400 RPM; 3rd gear maximum speed was 122 at around 6,400 RPM.
In short, if you have to shift on a corner or for any other reason before you need to, you can lose valuable time. Raising the RPM level helped me stay in a gear longer without bouncing of the rev limiter or forcing a shift.

As far as reflashing goes. The first one is no charge, and it is stated in our warranty. The person who made the claim of a first reflash charge of $250 does not look like one of our clients, nor did they ever contact us.
As far as data goes, there are several dynos floating around here that were done independently by our clients. I'll attach a thread. There are also a number of threads from satisfied clients.
