Very respectable time...what is the elevation at that track? Can you post a slip? What was your 60'?

Atco is one of the fastest tracks on the east coast Chapster and I believe it's 100ft above sea level if I remember correctly. It's located in South Jersey.

I could best my 109.00 trap? Perhaps enter into the 13.2s or 13.1s?

would love to see a 13.1 W208 AMG .

w/ an LSD you can probably get it down to 12.9. then add widder tires, headers, pulley and ECU, and i bet you can get to 12.5.

i think there is a C55 with those upgrades that runs low 12s.

I guarantee you there is an 11 second W208 parked 1 mile from me at the moment. Trouble is putting the power down....he's already got the Quaife and running 275s in the rear, but just spins when the go-pedal is used.

Lately, I've been more interested in seat time on road courses than laying down 1/4 mile times - but both are fun.

i meant mid 12s for an N/A.
but if your talking about SC W208 then you would probably needs like 325s in the rear.

i'm interested in both road course and drag strip, thats why i want to keep my car N/A. how does your car do against others (m3, rs4) in the track?

I've only participated in a few so far (and going again this Saturday), but all were private meets/track days with other AMGs only - so I don't have an apples/apples comparison with the other cars you mention.

I will tell you that (for me) the CLK55 has plenty of squirt on track, but needs a firmer suspension if you want to run more than 8/10ths. For the street the stock setup is fine for my needs. What is nice about our 208s compared with many of the other AMG models is we can out-brake and out-handle the more powerful, yet heavier, models like the E-class, SL, CL and CLS. The SLK has a 300-400 pound advantage and the Black Series....just for get it.

So far, I've experienced zero brake issues on track but I do run the Ate Super Blue fluid and am not locking it up in every corner....my next priority will be to address (after another set of tires) the suspension and ATB. But, I'm not in a hurry either....if I could locate some curbed 17" wheels suitable for track use, that will probably be my next investment.

In 2003 my stock 2001 CLK55 went 13.08 @ 108.58 on Nitto drag radials at ATCO. I tried every which way to get a 12 sec run but it just didn't get any better then 13.0?'s

IIRC, your 13.08 is the best ET on these forums for a stock W208/55. I ran a 13.34 @ 109.00 on 17" Michelin PS2s (stock sizes), but my trap was bested by a gent in Maryland who ran a 109.01.

I wouldn't mind running at ATCO at some point, perhaps with some stickier rubber.

Did you ever have your W208/55 dynoed?

No excuses! I'm coming after ya. My best time so far has been 13.26 @ 106mph at MIR 90 degrees. Would have been even better if I had SW done at the time for the cams. Sold the cams

Oh, time for the pile-on lol....Carl, you're gonna have to take a number as I dispatch the rest of the 5439cc N/A gang forthwith.

Then, it's showdown time baby!

Let's get some W209/55 skin in this game too.....
