I took my car to the track friday

I could best my 109.00 trap? Perhaps enter into the 13.2s or 13.1s?
. w/ an LSD you can probably get it down to 12.9. then add widder tires, headers, pulley and ECU, and i bet you can get to 12.5.
i think there is a C55 with those upgrades that runs low 12s.
Lately, I've been more interested in seat time on road courses than laying down 1/4 mile times - but both are fun.

but if your talking about SC W208 then you would probably needs like 325s in the rear.
i'm interested in both road course and drag strip, thats why i want to keep my car N/A. how does your car do against others (m3, rs4) in the track?

I will tell you that (for me) the CLK55 has plenty of squirt on track, but needs a firmer suspension if you want to run more than 8/10ths. For the street the stock setup is fine for my needs. What is nice about our 208s compared with many of the other AMG models is we can out-brake and out-handle the more powerful, yet heavier, models like the E-class, SL, CL and CLS. The SLK has a 300-400 pound advantage and the Black Series....just for get it.

So far, I've experienced zero brake issues on track but I do run the Ate Super Blue fluid and am not locking it up in every corner....my next priority will be to address (after another set of tires) the suspension and ATB. But, I'm not in a hurry either....if I could locate some curbed 17" wheels suitable for track use, that will probably be my next investment.

I wouldn't mind running at ATCO at some point, perhaps with some stickier rubber.

Did you ever have your W208/55 dynoed?

Then, it's showdown time baby!
Let's get some W209/55 skin in this game too.....
