I got mine at 27K miles and have driven 8K so far. No problems yet!
I just a got a set of PS2s as well, and WOW. The handling improvement, not to mention ride stability, road noise reduction and comfort have all dramatically improved.
In terms of handling, it feels like I got a new suspension. There is a lot more confidence going into the turns, and I can accelerate faster out of the bends, all good stuff which leads to a more exciting driving experience.
Also, the K&Ns have been in for 4K miles and are great! The car revs better and has more throttle response.

I hope you saved the MAF if it was not throwing a cel or codes p0170 and p0173 it was fine and may have lasted another 70000 miles.
Clean it with crc maf cleaner and put it in the classifieds or on craigslist.
Did you install the matching euro spec shocks with the spring change?How much did it lower the car?
