w208 CLK55 Maintenance
I have been scouring the forums for the last few months, my CLK has almost 39,000 miles and here are the things i'm going to be doing in the next month:
New battery
New cabin filters
MAF sensor
Green Air Filters
Oil Change
Transmission Fluid Change
Euro AMG Springs & pads
New Brakes & Pads & Rotors
Tires - Michelin PS2s
Car runs perfectcly, is there anything else that you guys would recommend doing after this mileage? Also, I would like to get cross-drilled rotors, I have searched the forums but cannot find out what everyone recommends, some say stick with stock, others say frozenrotors, brembo. I don't want to compromise performance for looks but does anyone know if the braking distance is affected by cross-drilled rotors and what does everyone recommend?
Also, would you go Green Filters or K&N ?
BIG PROBLEM.
I have frozen rotors on my 911 track car. They are almost new after many events. Have gone thru 2 sets pf brake pads no wear on the rotors.

If you track the car, I'd suggest stock cryo-treated rotors with stock pads otherwise just use the OEM rotors for street use.
If you haven't had the coolant flushed in the past 2-3 years, you may consider adding that to your list along with a change in diff fluid. Some are very opinionated on aftermarket air filters....for me, stock is fine.
I'd like to get your feedback after getting the new rubber and euro-spec springs on....make sure to get a good alignment afterward.

Now....if they looked under there and saw a pink Kleemann suspension, they might raise an eyebrow.
I'm thinking about upgrading my stock rotors to frozen ones. (www.frozenrotors.com) cross drilled and slotted all-around with HPS pads(front that is) How much did you pay to have ur new rotors installed?

I will take pictures before and after the springs. Am very excited!
My PS2s are already at the dealership and will be installing those next week, along with an alignment.
Will keep you guys posted!
