Brake Pads,Rotors,need info Please.
I hear that on the 208's they would cost twice as much then on the 208?
What are some good Rotors and Pads to get for the 209?and the price, maybe the best place to get them from?
Thanx Guys!

Where did you get it from?is it OEM or aftermarket stuff?
I believe front pads are part number 0034205820, with a list of $92, and are $74 with the discount. Rear pads are part number 0044201620, with a list of $75, and are $60 with the discount.
The W208 CLK55 and W202 C43 have the expensive brakes. Front rotors are side specfic. Part number 2104211812 for the left, and 2104211912 on the right. List is $270, and $216 with the discount. Rear rotors are the same as the W209 CLK55.

W205/55 rotors have directional cooling vanes. W209/55 rotors have radial vanes. Directional vanes allow rotors to run much cooler than radial(straight) vanes. The problem is the cost. Directional vanes require left and right side rotors. Their increased production cost is why they cost so much. The payoff is the pads don't get cooked and the fluid doesn't boil DESPITE the fact that "der chap-meister" is late braking hard and heavy.

Shoot, I'm easy on my brakes. I just turned 40K miles and have 40-50% pad life left on the original pads. I think it was Autoweek that tested the 60-0 distance with the W208/55 and it was only 112 feet, tied with the Boxtster. I've always had tremendous confidence in the factory brake set up.
