Just picked 02 CLK55 - lovin' it!

I've been on this site for a while as I'd been looking around at CLK55's for a few months. I posted several times and got some great info. Well, I finally pulled the trigger last Thurs on a 2002 CLK55 - black. It is in great shape 53K miles.
I got an extended warranty through the original dealer from which the car was purchased and serviced. Paid 16.5k for the car - a steal I know!!
The extended warranty required an inspection which checked out great. The only issues were the battery and the serpentine belt is a bit worn but typical for a car with 53K on it. The battery failed midtroniks (what's this?).
Can I just order a new OEM battery from the dealer and anything tricky about installing it? I recall reading on here that a bad battery can cause issues (electrical) so I want to take care of that pronto.
Also, at the inspection they pulled up the maintenance history for me and it's been maintained right on schedule.
God I LOVE THIS CAR!!. The power/torque yet so smooth and comfortable - nothing like it.
I still can't believe it when I walk down to my garage and see. Friends and family can't believe it either.Anyway, thanks to everyone that responded to my posts - definitely helped in my decision.

The midtronics is a battery tester that can test to see of their is a bad cell.
Nothing tricky about replacing the battery, just make sure you have your radio code. You may have to renormalize the steering angle sensor (abs/esp lights) and the windows.
Enjoy the 55 powa!
BTW this is rolln_on_em from corvette forum!

RE: the battery - I think I read about Re-normalizing in my owners manual. Not sure about Radio code but it's probably in there to. Probably won't do anything till my warranty kicks in in a month (darn 1 month / 1000 miles break in period).
Loving the power. I'm getting more and more comfortable with what this thing can do. Punching it from 40 mph is just delightful....
