F/S: 2005 CLK55 Low Miles, Ex Condition
Well I got some nibbles but nothing solid. I've relisted the car on eBay, and in line with some kind advice from the forum, it has no reserve price.
Just to clarify: I just had the front rotors and all four pads replaced and the new tires only have about 1,000 miles on them.
Here is a link to the eBay ad:
http://http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotor...m=190237064877
I'm letting this go for loan value only: $32,600. KBB is $35,111 and retail is $40,000.
I also have a Eurotek carbon-fiber lip that is brand new, still in the box. I'll pass it along for the same price I paid ($450.)
Please check it out and email or call with any questions.
Thanks,
Jen

I hope you realize that with no reserve you must sell your car for the ending auction price which could be a lot less than you want for it. Not sure this was a wise move. JMHO

You can't get this car for less on eBay: for $28k you can get a non-AMG older CLK with more miles and much more wear. The one comparable car on eBay (05 CLK55, 30k miles) is selling for $37,900.
Now go be a di@k to someone else...

If it still doesn't work, it's item # 190237064877

Very fishy. Did she get payment that fast? Possibly. Maybe the buyer lives in the same area she does? Could be.

Sold in person before the auction ended, so eBay auction ended early. I noted in the ad that the car was listed elsewhere, and that I reserved the right to end the auction early if the car was sold somewhere other than eBay.
Sale completed before the guy on eBay bid, and he was fine with it, since he didn't want to pay what the in person buyer offered...so I left him good feedback.
But thanks for inferring that it was somehow shady...

However that does not have to mean that there was some kinda illegal activities going on.Just that the transaction was not what it seems to be.Agree??
On a side note,i have sold a few cars on ebay and know how hard it is.
As a matter of fact,i have my car listed on ebay right now also.Just to see how it would go.Maybe the Guy that didn't buy your car will buy mine!
If i have insulted you in anyway please accept my apologies.
