got a deal in place for a 2003 CLK55 with CPO warranty for 3 years from date of purchase. Car currently has 48xxx miles on it and I can get it for $30300 out the door. Is that a decent deal? Thanks in advanced everyone. TC

I was quoted for a 3 year extended warranty, 3,500, that covers everything. Make sure you know what your warranty covers.

FYI, I got my 2004 CLK 55 for less than 30K out the door with 46K Miles. If the warranty is good then I think its a pretty decent deal.

Its a mercedes warranty, bumper to bumper $0 deductible. good for 3 years from date of purchase. The car is actually from MB of Oakland. Its $24k with one year warranty, but if I want 3 years of coverage, its an extra $4k? is the extra 2 years worth $4k? Thanks for the reply Tony. Tommy

I would dump the warranty and stick with the one year warranty from them. The warranty Mercedes offered me at San Jose was third party, for 4.5K I could get a 4 year warranty! Our service advisor(supervisor of all the rest), recommended it and said they deal with customers who have the warranty and they never have a problem with it.

BTW, I had my car in Oakland for service 4-5 times because its local. They have the most ****tiest service there. I came in with CD Errors, electrical problems, and they couldn't fix anything. They BS me telling me that they reprogrammed everything multiple times and I was so sick of it. Now, with their so called repair with my CD Changer, I have been having audio problems playing CD. I take my car to Smythe in San Jose and they fixed everything replacing countless motors and providing me with free services. Plus, Oakland can't even let you have a courtesy car!

i would get the extra two years of factory warranty. you can finance it with the price of the car so you will almost not even feel it in your payment. if you wait then next year you will be shelling out $3500+ for an extended warranty.

I bought the car. I got the car for $23695 and the warranty for $3795. Total out the door was a bit under $30000 for a 2003 CLK55 with 45xxx miles with a 3yr CPO warranaty good till 100,000 miles. I will post pics soon. First thing I want to do is get some nice wheels and lower it like Tony Y. Any suggestions? Thanks. Glad to be back in the AMG family.
