the +46 offset is incorrect.....and if I'm not mistaken, all 19" AMG monoblocks were manufactured for larger body Mercedes which utilize 14mm lug bolts, and our W208's use 12mm.

Also, why would you want to put non-staggered wheels on your car, by the way??

More trouble than its worth. These are S class wheels. Not the lightest choice. You would need spacers and adapter bolts. And then it would be trial and error and prayers that it doesn't rub. If you like AMG monoblocks get the real deal for the CLK in 18x8 and 18x9. Like Chappy.

Alloywheelsdirect.net is a good source for product at a discount and straight advice.

I was surprised to see those wheels on a VW station wagon - but it doesn't look half bad!

Hmmm...thanks but no thanks!

Actually with the pound sinking it's a good time to buy from alloywheelsdirect. Orders shipped to the USA should be VAT exempt.

These guys are also the source for adapter bolts (although such bolts are not needed for R129 SL wheels like mine).

Excellent reference, thanks. It looks like a set will cost about $5K (US) shipped....I'm going to do suspension work before I throw any more money at wheels (though the 2-piece wheels are GORGEOUS). I've got 3 sets of monoblocks already.

What kind of suspension work do you have in mind? I'm looking to cut down body roll and generally improve track performance without sacrifcing much ride comfort. I'm pleased that the switch to the aero wheels has not degraded the ride comfort.

I'm toying with the idea of the K2, variant 2 setup. Can be had for less than $2K, plus install. blackbenzz has this setup.

I thought that might be the one. Who sells it for a good price? How tricky is the install?

I've seen various sites have them as low as $1500, give or take. Not sure about install - my tech would handle that.

you can run KWV1's because you drive a W209.

We W208 owners only have the KWV2's available for our vehicles.
