2003 clk55
50,000 miles
one owner lease
Automatic, xenon, 17inch chrome AMG wheels
paint is perfect, no scratches or dents
asking $19,000

One side of me says, "Offer him $25K. If every CLK55 had a $25K floor, it would put an end to depreciation." 
What I'd do is take it to the dealer for a prepurchase inspection (which is what you want). Take the inspection results back to the owner and give him a lower price based on what the dealer finds. The dealer should find something (blown motor mounts, a leaky diff, a lot of overdue maintenance). At that point, you can make an offer based on something other than "I don't pay $19K". If the dealer notices the paint is not uniform (someone reshot a fender or three), you'll be happy you paid for an inspection.
