7 years ago today......
.....I took delivery of my 2002 CLK55. My factory extended warranty is up today.

So far, so good - I've enjoyed every mile. I'm KEEPING her!!

Good idea to keep her. Even when it came out 7 yrs ago it still packs a punch with the competitors. Ever thought about another extended warranty like US fidelis?

Thanks guys!

I celebrated yesterday with a 400-mile drive up through Deals Gap, Tail of the Dragon, Cherokee, then back down through Hayesville, Young Harris, then home.

It was a blast tackling those roads with a CL65 Kleemann, SLK 55 and E55.

Frankly, I drive the car so little another extended warranty would probably be a waste of money.

Your next upgrade to one of the naturally aspirated 6.3 vehicles would be perfect! It may me the last time we see something like that available and if that's the case it would be something to hold on to just like the CLK. I'd like to keep mine and possibly consider the next generation SLK AMG. A fleet of AMGs would be cool!

Not a bad choice, Might as well just sell the car and get a CLK63 Black series... at $50-60k+ off sticker you can pick them up around $75k, definitely a huge bargain.

Congrats on keeping her so long...

My grandfather kept MB's for 10 years then he would get a new one.....If you keep it nice, it will stay nice....You have 3 more years...hehe
