Proof of Concept - concealed V1 Remote display and LCD AFR display.
I'll clean it all up for the final install this weekend, but I'm pleased with the "floating afr digits" concept. And when the power is off... you see nothing. V1 remote display will be the same way. Stealth.
That hole that shows through is in the back of the unit... that is where I'll route the V1 cable. It will not show any light when installed from that hole in the back.

Looks like my garage is a little lean

Wideband O2 sensor installed on the drivers-side downpipe.... now I'm looking for a good way to get my wideband wires from the engine side through the fire-wall to the psg compartment.
Anyone know of a convenient place?
I've looked behind the batter and the elec box and nothing......

Looks slick, way better than the a-pilar. Did you set up a boost gauge?
So close to testing out the renntech and the weather goes to crap, hopefully it will be nice tomorrow.

Eventually I'll have the full suite in that cubby with same concept. Only AFR and the V1 Radar Det display now.
I sorted out the wiring of the o2 sensor to the psg side cabin.... there is an existing wire plug that has a loom from the trans to the psgr side foot well area. Just modified the rubber body plug to accomodate the wideband signal harness - clean and tidy. Ran some spark plug heat sheild on the wideband harness. Taking a break for football.... have to watch my LSU tigers.
Tomorrow early AM.... I'll do the final install of the gage pod into the dash, then road test.
Did I mention this car is soo different with new tires!!!! I've never had new tires since I got this car almost 2 yrs ago.... both sets of wheels had good tread... but tire shop mgr pointed out to me one set of tires was from 2003, and the other from 2006.... so heat cycled to death and hard as a rock. I thought I was going to need shocks/struts soon.... nope.... this thing rides, drives, turns, brakes, launches sooo nice. (I know this sounds newb-esque, but tires were the last thing on my mind)
Also installation of the 3" resonator before the AMG muff should be a requirement for kleemann cars with klee headers, no primary cats, high-flow 2ndary cats, and amg muff..... gone is the rapsy (almost ricey high end)..... plus way quieter at idle/cruise, just the right amount of the howl at WOT we love.
And finally... got my BFG Drag Radials installed on my stock 17" wheels.
Getting closer to 1/4 mile time .

Can't wait to hear the times. Unfortunately no new times for me this year, they closed the track after that stint of 20 degree weather. Looks like spring time.

I just want to make one solid pass with the wideband running... to give me pc of mind that I'm at 11.7-11.9 through the revs/boost.... and it's time to bolt on the DR's and run my friends chevy rS camaro.

I've got the COMAND unit so I am probably going to end up with pillar gauges, boost and WBAFR, Autometer makes a nice looking range in white to match my instrument cluster.
Sorry if you've already answered this along the thread, are you going to be running a boost gauge as well?

I'll eventually put a multifunction gage behind that tinted lexan in the cubby..... but that requires more sensors, wires, headaches than I'm interested in now.... I just want the AFR to be sure no deto.

Man o' man. I just read this threads 17 pages and Lord Jesus was that an intense read!
Congratulations on achieving your goal with this awesome Kleeman SC! Makes me really want to pull the trigger.
I was on the phone with Kleeman Denmark a few weeks ago, I forgot who I was speaking to but the guy was super cool. I told him I was looking for 500hp and he told me it was possible with their k3 package for about 13'000euros which is more or less 17k USD. It includes the kompressor, headers, intercooler, ECU tune, sports camshafts and LSD. Oh and it also includes the transportation from Switzerland to Denmark.

Yeah, I'm glad this thread is still alive, so people learn how NOT to do this build.
I honestly was too busy with my job to baby-sit the orig installer and bird-dog and watch them. If you don't mind your business, you will get hosed.
Do your research before putting down the cash with your installer. Best bet is with the genuine article..... KLEEMANN!

Need a little help:
Getting P-0171 and P-0174 Lean Bank 1 / 2.
Checked short term and long term fuel trim:
Short term is good +/-5%.....
Long term is +25 and +26% which is why it's throwing a CEL. Very rich.
I pulled the MAS and cleaned it with CRC.... long term slowly creeped up to 22 / 23 after 20 min ride. So I suspect I still have my problem.
Narrowed down to:
MAS (it's got a new meter on it) I CRC'd it just in case.
O2 Sensors - Car only has 32K miles. (got a new set of prim O2 sensors on order just in case)
Massive Vac Leak - I think this is my problem. The 90 deg el from the Throttle body to the MAS is sloppy loose.
I checked my star disk for the stock 90 deg elbow and it is supposed to have two locks.... one on top and one on bottom. Mine only has the one on top which I suspect is why it get's loose and sucks in air after MAS.
Pic below:
Can someone confirm you are supposed to have the top and bottom lock
#6 and #8 per the above picture for a Kleemann blower install?
My elbow only has the #6 lock.... and is thus relying solely on that top lock and the snug-ness of the rubber seal to hold it in. After a few miles it vibrates loose and I think this is my issue.
I'm 99% sure it's all part throttle issues.... my Wideband shows correct AFR through the revs under boost to WOT... 11.8 up top.
Finally I don't think it's fuel pump or fuel filter as my AFR up top is great.
Also need the PN for that little rubber/plastic air y-pipe that goes on top of the Throttle Body connects to each valve cover if anyone can look that up, and the p/n for the 90 deg pipe that goes below the MAS number 7 above. I might get a new one with the bottom and top lock (IF it's supposed to work that way with a klee blower).
Thanks Gents.

Out Of Control!!
Found it! It does indeed have two tabs. Part number A 112 141 0190. Only problem is mine has a nitrous jet in it lol. I can't see that part being more than $30 or $40. then again it is a Mercedes part so you never know. If its expensive and you want this one with nitrous jet in it pm me your address and I will so it to you free

Link to crossfire forum.... these guys are gutting the fins out of the throttle body plastic elbow for increased flow. Not sure about doc gains, but sounds interesting. See Below:

Here's a good side shot of the elbow with both bottom and top clips..... pretty easy to see how you need both clips.
