THE blower thread
My car shifts the same no matter the rheostat settings.
Perhaps a diff between w208 and w209 klee setups?
I'll do some research and see who else he works through in H-town.
Once bitten twice shy.
i have tried to clamp the voltage of the MASS signal to 4.85 before using a simple voltage clamp, but when the ECU sees a constant voltage it will freak out.
without Jerry's constant support i was not able to complete this project, he worked so much to make a base line tune that made the car operate safely and we started to fine tune it to what it is now.
11.8 up top is OK.... but I didn't comment on the part throttle afr's and fuel trims which are lean.... my ltft's were steady going up to 1.18 plus.
Plus I'm a bit paranoid at burning a piston, or worse damaging the block. I'm on a tight leash with mods this season due to some other endeavors I've
takenup..... vintage guitars/amp addiction has set in. Picked up a 1955 fender champ tweed all orig.... and last week found a nice 1959 fender bassman tweed....
THE guitar sound of the gods..... (I digress).

when you go over 4.85 volts hard shifts will occur which could make serious damage, can't comment on these because as i have the blue tops solenoids which make the car really shift good (harsh shifts). My friend is running the NA 600 solenoids they are better than the stock but not as crisp as mine

I was using NGK BCP7ES with good results before switching to E55 ported heads. They are copper plugs so they are cheap
I'm sure an old pro like you is aware of this.
It's night and day..... makes the car respond more like my wifes old pp c63 car.
Amazing how the adaptations get all out of whack over a year of stop-n-go daily driving.

I have searched the CLK55/63 forums and still haven't turned up really anything for spark plugs. I know what we use for stock, but since most of us on this thread are under boost, im wondering what everyone is using.
I'm using the Champion's rec by PTE a few pages back. Too lazy to search.. But you can search this thread (using search feature) for spark plugs..... or champion. The champions are very cheap and readily avail at most auto parts stores.
Based on the cond of my 1st set of plugs @ 5K miles... I'll be changing mine very oil change as a normal main item.
I am not one to makes custom changes/tinker. Just bolt on and go.
With my current mods, except for CF airbox of course, what kind of gains would I be looking at by adding the Kleeman supercharger with their tune. Nothing custom on the kit, just run it the way it was sent.
Cams add a bit more
P/P heads at a bit more
smaller pulley / tune adds more
My car dyno'd @ 471rwhp / 481rwtq with blower, klee headers, p/p heads, sm pulley, klee tune.

With the provided kit, do you think I can gain 10mph in the 1/4? So traps around 118-119mph?
Cannot wait til your car hits the 1320 lol.
Hami - that is impressive my friend.
I'll hit the track in some 70 deg weather, and probably throw a splash of high test in the tank for sec blanket.
...
Just did the DIY power steering fluid flush and install new power steering reservoir and new gasket. Super easy work that goes like this (for me):
* drain fluid from reservoir, I started using a simple brake bleeder vac kit, but that was too slow, so then hooked up the marine engine oil changer unit.... which sucks at an unbelievable rate. Sucked the res dry.
* pull the line from the res to the low pressure side (cooler in bumper), and hooked my oil changer sucker to the low pressure side (inlet to the res) and pulled vac on the system and drained the funky dark fluid from the system.... with only 36K miles it was nasty.
* Installed new gasket, and new reservoir, re-installed the low pressure line with new worm gear clamps. Then fill res with new mb fluid, start car.... and add fluid until proper level. Power steering pump "sounds happy"... either placebo effect.... or NEW fluid
... I choose the later.Cheers Gents. Oh and no more leaking.

Did you ever run it N/A?
I would not cam it, just supercharger and that's it. Just contemplating on investing in this platform or waiting for the next platform to come down in price.
120mph traps would be perfect.
