THE blower thread
I got jerry to tune my TCU for me when I launch it on street tires it would slip shifting on second gear and trapped 113 but I wasnt able to get one decent launch on street tires when I changed up the tires I hot lapped it and had constant 12.1X @ 115-116mph I still have to fix the shifting and I am getting a resistor for my MAF hoping its m solution
Yea I ran it all stock it was my first time on the track I remember running a 13.48 but I dont recall at what speed Im guessing 103 or 104 I need to find the slips to confirm. this was about 3 years ago I only took the car to the track once when it was stock and all I cared about back then were my times
Yea once Hami's shifting gets sorted that thing is going to fly! Can't believe it's that fast shifting like that. The W209 is heavier than the W208 but I guess the better gearing counterbalances that.
Can't wait to see your track numbers! Good luck

You may want to look him up!
How are y'all reseting all of these adaptations??
Resetting adaptations using DAS Star - chinese knock off system.
I have some long tube headers and a large MAS sitting on deck for a retune.

Supercharger alone will not put you at 120 unfortunately. I dug up an old vid on youtube and saw that I was running around 11.8 @ 117 with autorotor Kleemann sc, kleemann headers, and kleemann tune. But that was in a W208. The vid sucks pretty bad haha

However, if I find a kit on the cheap, I might pick it up and join you guys in the fun.

I'm 99% sure, but want to confirm. I might have one coming to my shop very very soon
Good D/A in Chicago is few and far between. Hopefully this season, though it being nearly 80 degrees in March
. May not look so good.Let me know how the wavetrac goes...did you ever take yours back to the track?
Thinking about getting one as well. Let me know if you found out, as I am pretty sure its pNp as well.
The paddles - almost.
Because you have single phase shift buttons and the paddle shifters are simple rocker switches, it is not a straight plug and play swap. However, it is very simple now thanks to a add on module available from DCT;

Now you're ready to go

Just had an intermittent prob crop up: push throttle down.... and no go... restart car.. all's well. It's done this 2 times now in 2 days.
STAR Says: P0120 Code - M16/6r1 - (Throttle valve actual value potentiometer) Stored.
I ran the Star Diagnostics real-time by pushing the accel pedal to the floor and monitor the values real time with STAR... and it read fine Now.
I'm guessing either the TPS is on it's way out, OR just a computer glitch... OR loose connection @ Throttle Body.
Question - any guesses on above? Car has 39K miles. Seems odd to have a tps go bad already?
How hard is it to change TB and/or TPS on a kleeman blown CLK55?
I'm guessing I'll have to pull the entire blower to get to the TB and/or TPS?....
Hit me up if you know.
It looks like the TPS is integral to the 2004 w209 TB actuator assy.
I'll try to CRC clean the TB connection tomorrow and go from there.
Thx.
