I like the idea of methanol, You have to remember it burns twice the rate of gasoline and gets really ugly when moisture is introduced into the fuel system. Highly corrosive and damages rubber sealing components in the fuel system. Extremely dangerous on fire as well.
The nitrous would have to be staged with a blown engine as boost pressure introduced with nitrous under max PRV settings could quickly grenade the engine. We don't see this combination often. The e55 pistons dome might require some fly-cutting and vapor cooling thermal ports installed to reduce detonation.
Just a hunch, 11 on a dirty track in street skins is very respectable with all this effort.

There are no kits available for our cars yet. Had to buy a 55k kit and modify a bunch of things to get it to work. If you do all the labor yourself I can easily envision spending $15k+. I would wait until they release a NA 55 kit that's tested and should be at a much lower price point hopefully.
The 55k kit is under $9k but that doesn't include intercooler pump, heat exchanger, trunk reservoir, bigger fuel pump, meth injection, parts needed for conversion on a NA 55, etc etc

BB - do you have some real-time data: boost, fuel pressure, AFR, AIT, fuel inj duty cycle, ST and LT FT's, timing, etc.. so you can see what is going on?
GL man...... bolting on parts, and tuning on the street in traffic sucks...... I envy the speed shops with air cond dyno....... just tweek, drink a latte', and post numbers on the inter-web
...... like a cool dude.

Did some logging. Meth GREATLY reduced IAT's. Max I saw on consecutive pulls was under 120 and the SC was cold to the touch when I stopped. Will do some more logging another day. Car still doesn't feel fast to me although the passenger with the laptop said it was scary fast

Hey Guys,
I like to suggest mods that have worked for me in the past like drilling thermal gas ports in the domes of the pistons, This was a drag only cheap HP gain for cool downs between runs, The mod was designed by Art Gravitt ( knew personally) from getting Pro Gas (8sec) big block mustangs to work in the 70,s. These 55 engine's have internal oiling to compensate for piston meltdown under extreme detonation by squirting oil under the domes. An incredible engineering acomplishment by MB performance teams.
Flycutting refers to machining minimal amounts of metal from the tops of the pistons to increase piston to valve clearence, Roots supercharger guys might gain increased boost by re engineering the pulleys to accomodate reduced compression.
Turbo and supercharger engines benifit from special camshaft profiling as well. Compression Benz 55 is an all around streetable combination but has room for cam modification. Valve spring mods reccomended.
The added methanol mix with a supercharger is going to get really funky. Be careful of a meltdown.
Hardware is here, I hate to see the frowns on your tuning guys with methanol and grief added to all of this.
sounds like fun.
Keep us in the loop, as many would love to explore the possibilities of this motor.

Jerry from EC tuned my car in a couple hours. The car was begging for more timing but we decided to stop because we don't know how much the bone stock motor could handle... We stopped at 605whp
Next stop... track

Decided to put my car under the knife last week. Waiting on one more part and its
time
I did take the car to the track but was having issues with TCU and what seemed like torque limiter. It kept popping out of gear when launching hard. Full interior it ran 10.6 @ 132.9 with a soft launch in positive DA... Stay tuned for more updates...

I hope you manged to fix your TCU/Tranny issues. I was talking to Paul the other day when I was at the shop and he said your car ran like a beast, but had some problems getting off the line. I hope Jerry managed to fix it and you have better results. I can't wait to see that beast at MIR in Nov, maybe 700+ rwhp by then? lol

I am keeping my fingers crossed for both of us. If your engine holds up under this level of boost then so should mine. Thanks for taking the lead on pushing the envelope with this motor. Looks like your CR is the same as mine at 10.5:1 correct? Not the 9.0:1 of the W211 but of the W210 just to confirm? I chose to build my engine at 10.5:1 instead of 9.0:1 so I won't have to run too much boost and still get the power.

Hopefully both will be addressed before MIR. I decided to do an oil change
