So what did the final price end up being on the axles and what are you looking at for the driveshaft? Is it going to be two piece or one. I am just about ready to order axles I think that the BS or the C63 axles will drop right in and have been thinking about the Carbon driveshaft also.
Fyi I just got a CLK BS wheel flange and it is a straight swap. A little pricey but a stock part. I am going to see if I can figure out getting them cheaper.

The axles were under 2 grand but i also bought stock hubs and sent them to be resplined and the axles will only work with a m215 diff which also needed modification to fit and custom mounts. So it is quite pricey all together. Is the length on the BS axles the same? I would think they are longer. I've heard of c63 guys breaking axles so i would avoid that route. The cf driveshaft hasn't been made yet but will be one piece. Price will be under $2k.

I just about have the 215 differential mounted in a spare subframe. Actually pretty straight forward on that part. A little cutting and grinding and will have to weld in one new mount location. The BS hub is 321.00 and is perfect. I do not know about the BS axle lengths. I am hoping to take some measurements and have a line on some used ones.. Main thing for me is that DSS already makes axles for the BS so all the parts are standard. Nothing custom except maybe the length. The C63 axles I know will fit and require a washer on the threaded end of the shaft at the wheel hub. I doubt I will be breaking a stock C63 axle any time soon though. I am about 5-600 lbs lighter. Besides if I get them cheap enough I would not care. I still need a driveshaft and a converter and some other stuff.

what kinds of gains has he made since then? Did he gain any power with just the different blower alone?

His car is definitely faster but he hasn't been back to the track. He's also running a smaller SC pulley with custom belt wrap, looped fuel rail, and my custom massive heat exchanger. We also put a conservative dyno tune on it. I felt a difference but don't have quantifiable data. Then to fix his shifting issue we sent his converter and Trans to paramount performance and now it shifts great and hard. Its definitely faster now

Weistec SC is ready for the 55k apparently but it will need to be tweaked to work with the NA 55s. I won't be back home until January so hopefully there will be a blower there waiting for me when I get back and start playing

Axles and driveshaft arrive next week. Guess I'm going with an AMG blower for now, if i can get it back! Goal is to run tens using stock Mercedes parts from SC down to oil pan. The rest won't be stock Mercedes so i can't wait to finally launch and not break!!!

Haha i wish! I'm just hoping everything goes in smoothly and have it ready in a few weeks for MIR. You know i don't waste time when i set my mind to something lol

Believe it or not I've never been able to launch the car off the stall without breaking something. That will change, although i probably won't be making as much power as the lastsetup
