yuk... I'm quite a fan of the e46 M3 as well but this is just plain UGLY... The E46 is not as timeless as the clk's are and they are really starting to look old now...

as much as i love CLK55, i disagree. the flared out fenders keep the E46 with lowering/big wheels looking like a monster!

i love the CLK55 but at times, the w208 CLK55's look a bit dated with the round head lights

yeah I'm quite disliking the 208's as well... great cars but just look too old and didnt really stack up to the E46 IMO... the w209 however is a different story... the interior, the roofline, the pillarless side windows... it all just fits a special car, where the e46 is a very conservative design, and they date much much quicker..

AS with the e46 coupe the wider fenders are limited to the top spec models, at bmw it is the m3, m3 csl and m3 gtr v8, for us its the CLK DTM and the CLK63 Black Series

I wish mine had it to though, and although u'd consider a clk55 top spec, there are 4 different spec'd clk's that put out more HP...

+1. A nice body kit with fenders half the size of the BS would be very sweet, something that still keeps the original AMG body kit lines though. Much like what the 209 member with the black flared 550 has done, his car is stunning.

its a renntech widebody kit.

i think i might investigate how much it'll cost for customer flaring of fenders...

It's a CLK63 non BS bumper, and the flares are custom.... not renntech as far as I know

Nope, custom body work on the fenders, integrated CLK63 front bumper and I believe he said it's rocking a CL rear bumper. Truly beautiful work.
