Eurocharged fact or fiction

So I called well emailed back and forth rather a Representative of "Eurocharged" as i have an MP112 Blower hanging off the side of my 55 with no tune...They spoke on behalf of "Jerry" and told me "I don't need a tune and I don't need an fmu or anything else rather for the car it will just adapt to boost and "tune its self" that 8psi is not enough to need remapped for

I have an HPS Kit in which is modified and I did not install the voltage clamp or FMU as From what I have seen they do nothing but cause damage...I spoke with the owner of Attwood European Who has supposedly I say that because I can only go off what was told to me...anyways He has supposedly perfected a tune for the HPS Kit with 36lbs@44psi Fuel Injectors for the 55amg w210 and w208 without the use of the an fmu etc...Just a supercharger blowing 8psi and vac compensator mod....oh and water methanol injection Andrew was his name and he seemed extremely knowledgeable unlike the folk at "Eurocharged"

What are your thoughts? oh his tune (attwood) is $$$ thus my reason for research before purchase and it requires the 36lbs injectors another $500

Is "Eurocharged" Correct or are they completely off their rocker?

You have a couple choices:
1. Bigger injectors or maybe stock injectors, and EC "jerry" tune. This is what the really fast guys with many many mods are doing.

2. FMU and mass air sensor clamp w/stock injectors. This is what comes with a kleemann blower kit. Many of us kleemann blower guys are running this set up with success.

I would not just bolt a blower on a clk55 with no tune or fuel system mods.
Perhaps you caught an administrative asst type @ EC.... or wrong number claiming to be EC.

I might also add, do your homework 1st before dealing with any tuners...... they are hit and miss..... and you will be left holding the bag of broken parts if someone experiments on your car. So don't take chances on this high dollar platform.

I believe I read one of the threads that said the orig HPS tune was not good and left a few engines with trouble..... but there is a guy in SouthWest that knows how to tune the HPS setup with success....... do a search under parts for sale section for HPS blower......

Also before you sink the equiv of a toyota camry into your clk, keep in mind you can get an 07gt500 for the same price as mods, or a used built E55 for 30's these days...... so keep all of that in perspective. If after your analysis you still want to dive into the clk55 mods.... more power too ya..... that's what I did... and it has it's rewards after you get the bugs out.

Cheers.

I am highly considering a 2013 SRT8 Jeep so I know what you mean...however I want to build my amg how i have wanted for a long time first...i want to say money is not a factor but it is. I wont dump another 10k into it but will dump another xx in to it to make it how i forsee aka: The most power possible with my setup Andrew at Attwood is the guy you speak of in the southwest (Arizona) attwoodeuropean.com I dont want to put together an unreliable mess that hps originally did...My Kit is basically The magnuson mp112 blower with a 2.25 pulley(for now) using hps mounting hardware and coolant hoses lol

Doesn't the Gen1 come with the MP90? Did you modify your kit to fit a 112?

Any pics? I didn't think there was enough room there to fit the 112.

If anyone knows how much the hps kits need to be modified its this guy. He's built a monster but its not easy nor cheap.

I don't think Jerry would say you don't need a tune and i wouldn't drive it without one. How much power did this az guy make?
