I don't know how many miles you have on the Eisenmann, but new exhausts do "break-in" and get louder after a bit.

I've got about 5K Miles on the Eissenman... so it's def getting louder.....

lol finally got the bumper in to get painted! should have back on wednesday, should have installed this weekend i hope. assuming I got all the bits and pieces i needed...ended up doing a cash deal with the guy for $350 to have the factory system done to it (which was the only way he felt comfortable doing in order to get it to match to the rest of the car and the pieces that came that were already painted etc) He's got a contat of a guy that does the clear bra (some new technology of the 3m stuff that supposedly never yellows and self cures if marred) so what i save on the paint job should be covered by that i hope!

side note, I was wondering how the impact foam stays attached to the bumper itself...i didn't see anything on the parts list I have indicating that, or is there something on my old bumper that can be used?

I used some 3m 5200 adhesive I had lying around.

The impact foam is sandwiched between the bumper cover and the bumper bracket. The bracket attaches to the cover with rivets.

hmmm...of course this is the first im hearing of this and not on the parts list i had...that 3m tape sounds good lol, i got a bunch lying around

well there goes another $200 i wsan't planning on spending...at least i got my bumper painted to factory specs for only $350 cash under the table baby! lol

I've never had this car on a road trip until this week...... had a business event in Austin this week. Houston - Austin in 45 Deg F Weather...... high pressure..... open highway........ very nice.

this car is sooo much more enjoyable on open highway @ 70-8XMph..... than bumper 2 bumper daily commute....... avg 80mph 20mpg....... not too bad. Thx kleemann for building my beastie....... emmission legal, turnkey toy.

I'll bet it is very nice on the open road. Used to live in Texas (Dallas/Grapevine), and I can recall the great for driving interstate and highways.

Do you have any drone? I think you have an eisenmann exhaust..

I reused my old bumper foam. I had to cut it on many places to fit. For the effort I would just buy the face lift foam. It just sits in place sandwiched so it does not move.

oh ya knocked it all out and got it installed back in december...getting the clear bra installed in the next week or so!
