This project started with a stock 20K miles 2004 CLK55 2 yrs ago.
It was a cpo car at my local MB dealership.
Thanks to all my MB friends who have offered tech support, help, tools, ideas, throughout this build.

Thanks to MB Vendors/Members: PTE, Kleemann (Cory/Brandon), DCT, M-power, JC Paint AutoBody in Houston, Shardul for his DAS help, KEV for his design ideas, and BBenz for the tuning help. I could not do this without your help.

Mods:
Engine
Kleemann Eaton Blower
Pulley Upgrade (8-9psi w/p/p heads)
Kleemann Fuel System (FMU, dc-dc inverter, MAS v-clamp)
P/P Heads

Stock suspension is fine for daily driver, since I have a rather steep entrance ramp to work.
Coil-overs may be in my future.

Wow you repainted the whole car in Designo Magno paint?! Looks awesome! Did the body shop do a good job on the details of the paint?

xxgenxx - I'm pleased with the results. JC did the door jams, under trunk/hood/gas filler for a good price.

It looks like they did a great job and I did see how it was in the door jams as well. Very nice.

Have you considered doing a CF interior trim kit? I think it'll really take it to the next level.

xxGen - Those cf trims are nice. The best I've seen are when you send your parts off for custom CF. I'm not a huge fan of the wrap materials.

Puff - thx... it's a long road.

Lenin - that is a huge compliment. My major concern with all this add-on parts is going too far. My goal is to have the avg person over-look this car as stock...... only people in the know understand what this is about.

Yepeyep. My motto is do real CF or don't do anything at all. I did the send off method and it worked very well. Couldn't be happier.

I see the light!!! Supercharger , I have built some serious muscle in the past on Ford/Chevy for racing. Roots style superchargers required compression ratios of 7.5:1 or less depending on pulley overdrive.
Are you guys running stock short blocks and super tuning the chip for detonation reduction? I spotted a MB blower on craigslist last week and started brainstorming.

I see Hami broke into 11's... so the bar is set.
I'll get a couple passes on DR's just to see what this thing will do, then back to daily driver.

Forgot to mention I've got a set of MBH LT's for next rd of mods.

I was wondering what you ended up deciding to do with them, glad to hear you're going ahead and installing them.

2.23.13 Tuneup -

Just gave the old girl some love///// this AM//////
Oil Change
Filter
Spark Plugs
Air Filters
New Serpentine Belt
@ 44,500 Miles.

Discovered my tensioner pulley is delaminating on part of it..... so I'll order a new one.
Old belt was pretty stretched out and had some worn spots.

****road test shows big improvement.
traction issues again.

Thx nacht.

Update;
Replaced serpentine belt tensioner mechanism last night, and wow what a diff. Belt was slipping in upper revs, much better now. I'll watch to see if belt dust goes away. Pulls like a freight train with the Pte cams again.

Also found out something I did not know about those aftermarket led tails..... They light up just 1 row if you put the curbside pkg light on.

5.7.13 Update:

Bad news hit a tire tread cracking my front bumper paint......
Good news..... I'll use this as my excuse to finally upgrade to the 2007 clk63 face-lift front bumper/fogs/grills........ parts ordered.

Just got a BBK. So it's coming along.
