Question CLK63 "Low dust" brake pads recommendation...

I've searched, but couldn't come up with a clear answer.

Who can recommend the best "low dust" pads for the 6/4pot CLK63 brakes? I guess the pads should be the same as the SLK55 brakes too.

I had Akebono's before and they worked great on my old brakes, but cant seem to find them for the front for the 6pots....

Thanks in advance!

I'm trying to find them too. Don't buy the EUR983's, as I just confirmed 15 minutes ago that they don't fit.

I installed new OEM brake pads on my clk55 and they do not dust at all compared to the old orig OEM pads. I'm guess the new materials is different. For what it's worth.

I finally found a supplier for Ceramic pads for the 6 piston calipers. I installed a set (front and rear) this morning and I'm really liking them. They have a great initial bite and the dust should be almost nonexistent.

Fronts: $52

REALLY?! That is a GREAT price, almost too good to be true. Let me know how they hold up after a week then I'll get some for sure. Most concerned about the brake dust

OK, actually I just bought 2 pair. 1 for my CLK63 set up and 1 for dads SLK55 set up. Will install these and add to the review as well.

Installed the pads friday, and so far I am very pleased! The dust is 100x better than the stock pads, those were $h!t!!

Only thing was on the install for the rears had to re-use the old backing plates, but other than that theyre perfect!

+1

Brake dust has disappeared. My passenger rear backing plate fit, but not the driver's rear. Other than that, I'm very happy with the purchase.
